HISTORY: The AGRIPPA Binder

The first Agrippa binder was constructed and developed in 1923 by the well-known constructer Gustav Larsson, who also constructed the first Volvo car in 1927. Both products are genuine constructions that still remind us about quality, durability and working ordering.

Gustav Larsson chose to call his constructed binder product Agrippa, with reference to the roman conqueror Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa.

The ambition was that also the binder should conquer the world, which you could say it has since this product is spread to most of the countries and continents. Gustav Larsson developed the binder as workshop manager at GALCO (GA Lindstedt & Co) who started to sell and produce Agrippa binders. Agrippa binders came to be the company’s biggest success and in 1927 they also constructed visible headlines on the binders. These card index were put out on the Leipziger exhibition. In 1963 GALCO and DUX joined together and established GALCO-DUX AB.
